How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff work with a range of professionals to support all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, ensuring effective support plans are in place. They evaluate activities to motivate individual learning experiences for these children and those who may face barriers to their learning. Leaders and staff are attentive to individual needs and swiftly identify support for effective strategies, proactively addressing barriers and providing supportive intervention.

Outdoor space

Children have strong desires to practise their physical skills and access a wide range of opportunities to explore the outdoors. They develop a deep love for the outdoors, leading on their ideas to build obstacle courses. Staff encourage their physical skills to climb, walk and jump from what they have created, and children explore various ways to explore outdoors to contribute to their overall health and wellbeing, becoming active learners.

EAL / language support

Leaders and staff acknowledge barriers that children and families may face and offer opportunities to extend their experiences. Children benefit from high-quality interactions to develop their communication and language, with staff asking open-ended questions to extend their thinking, helping them become confident communicators and learn new words.
