How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported. Staff use picture cards to help develop children's communication skills and understanding. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) works well with outside agencies, and care and education plans are regularly reviewed, ensuring children with SEND make good progress.

Outdoor space

Older children learn how to navigate space and avoid obstacles as they play chasing games with their friends in the nursery's large garden. They develop their balance and coordination as they ride bikes. Toddlers enjoy helping to sweep the leaves in the outdoor area, helping children build their large-muscle skills.

My daughter has attended Tina's Tots since it opened in 2019 when she was 10 months old. She loves attending nursery and has made some greats bonds with the staff. The nursery have a good amount of teacher led time and free play and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and they are preparing her well for primary school. The staff are always professional and enthusiastic which is one of the reasons we like sending our children here. My son has recently started to attend in the caterpillar room and seems happy to be there. I would definitely recommend Tina's Tots to others.

My daughter has been with Tina's Tots since she was 10 months old and has now just turned 4. She loves nursery and is always talking about all of her friends she has there, staff members included! The staff are so kind and caring with all the children, you can tell they genuinely love their jobs and enjoy helping the children to learn and play. I would 100% recommend this nursery and will be sad when she leaves for school!

I have 2 children that go to Tina's Tots and both of them absolutely love it. They have supported the children excellently at each stage of their development and they learn so much every day. One of my children has additional needs and from day 1 they have been amazing! They have done absolutely everything to ensure that he has the right support and they have also helped us as parents with their knowledge and skills working with children with extra needs. I would 100% recommend this place, the staff are just amazing and this nursery was the best decision I ever made!

We absolutely love Tina’s Tots nursery. Having tried a previous setting for our little boy that was unsuccessful we were nervous about Henry starting another nursery. However from day one we were made to feel welcome, supported and Henry truly cared for. The staff are warm and smiley, they plan a range of exciting and engaging topics for the children as well as lots of extra curricular activities that families can participate in. Our little boy is thriving at this nursery and his progress is clear to see even at the young age of 2. The communication from staff is excellent we receive regular photos and emails with updates. We really appreciate the staff here and everything they do for the children and would recommend them for anyone with young children.

Both my children attend Tina’s Tots. I have one in baby room and one in the bigger room. They absolutely love their days at nursery and I intend of keeping g them there until they’re ready to start full time school. The staff are brilliant and are always happy to support!
