Inclusion & environment
The manager and practitioners support all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, well. They monitor and observe children from their initial assessments and identify any gaps in development, planning activities and experiences to help close these gaps. Extra support is put in place for those children who may need it, such as one-to-one sessions or referrals to specialists.
Children have many opportunities to develop their physical skills. They have access to indoor and outdoor spaces where they can move in different ways. Children enjoy resources such as cars, a slide and large construction materials.
Children who speak English as an additional language are supported well. Practitioners who speak the same language as the children help them to settle in and communicate with them regularly in their home language. Practitioners gather key words from parents. Parents are invited in to read stories in their home language and to share their traditions and culture, such as food and clothing, on cultural days.
My daughter is part of Tiny explorer kids nursery from past 2 years and she will move to reception next year. Just want to share my wonderful experience with this nursery. My daughter was too shy when she joined but I am glad to say that she is now super confident and happy. All thanks to Tiny Explorer teaching staff - Rajini, Amein, Ronnie, Jimaya, Kitty and many more. Thank you!!
Read on GoogleFantastic nursery!!! My 2 year old son has been been attending 4 days a week for the last 8 weeks. He has settled really well and literally doesn't want to leave when it's home time. He loves all the staff and knows they by name and says bye to each member at the end of the day. He is learning so much and has increased his knowledge of numbers, colours and shapes, and has really developed in his potty training skills in the last 3 weeks and is no longer having accidents any anymore. My son started attending with multiple food allergies and the staff have been so accommodating to his needs. Great nursery. I would recommend. Polite staff, lovely manager and clean venue. 11 out of 10.
Read on GoogleMy son had an amazing time with TEK. He had challenges with eating and feeding himself but the management worked with me and made sure he adjusted really well. Academically he learnt so much and his communication skills really improved. He could actually read well as a kindergarten and always looking forward to going to school. Overall, I recommend this school with amazing teachers, children with great potentials with great sense of community
