Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinators (SENCOs) have a secure knowledge of how best to support children, parents and staff. Staff raise any emerging gaps in learning with the SENCOs and seek additional support when necessary, enabling them to work in partnership with parents and other professionals to devise strategies and reduce gaps in learning swiftly.
Babies and children show a good awareness of how to carry out tasks safely. For example, babies come down the stairs holding the handrail or a staff member's hand or crawl down backwards. This shows that they have learned the skills they need to keep themselves safe in readiness for outdoor play.
Excellent nursery, so glad I chose this for my son. We looked at other nurseries in the area recently and found Tiny Oaks to be the best one, the staff are amazing and very thorough with their feedback and activities. The nursery is conveniently located on the high street, so I can drop my son off and walk to the train station, after getting a Costa, knowing he is being well and truly looked after. Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleTiny Oaks is an exceptional nursery. Our son (about to turn 3) has been going to Tiny Oaks in Edenbridge for two years. From the baby room to the toddler room, we have seen incredible development in our son, learning so many things we hadn’t got round to teaching him at home. Support with potty training was incredible, and really driven by the staff at the nursery helping to keep us motivated throughout the process. It’s been amazing seeing our boy build connections with the staff members and vice versa, particularly with his main/key carers. He’s made friends with lots of the other kids who we hear all about in the car home. It will be a sad day when it’s time to leave Tiny Oaks, but the support and care for our son during some of his important years has been something we’re incredibly grateful for and we feel so fortunate to have found Tiny Oaks, just on our doorstep. (Almost 3 year old boy, goes 5 x full days a week, has done for nearly two years)
Read on GoogleI have been in communication with this Nursery and Montys in Edenbridge. Monkey Puzzle has not been helpful in the slightest. I was left with the feeling my son is just ££££ rather than a little baby. Not accomodating, not welcoming and no customer service, the emails had a 'take it or leave it' vibe. Not what I'd expect at all.
Read on GoogleExcellent nursery, my daughter attends 3 days a week and the staff and facilities are amazing.
