Inclusion & environment
Staff discuss with parents if children have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) during settling-in sessions. They use this information to plan activities that meet all children's needs. Staff understand how to track children's progress and can identify children who need extra help in their learning, and work well with parents and external agencies to share children's next steps.
Outside, children enjoy creating constructions that enable them to investigate cause and effect. They work with staff to tier crates and guttering and watch as they roll small balls to the bottom. Children develop good physical skills and are encouraged to explore different movements during visits, such as to a neighbouring soft-play.
Children who speak English as an additional language (EAL) are helped to make connections in their learning. Parents of children who speak EAL report that they are happy with the support provided.
My son has been attending Tiny Stars for a few years now. There were some difficult months last year which resulted in a complete change of staff. In the end I am glad that we decided to keep our son at the nursery, as the team now is lovely and very supportive and the setting itself has been improved a lot. I also really appreciate that the children get access to an indoor soft play area, as this ensures that they get lots of exercise even if the weather is bad. My youngest child has just started attending the nursery as well and loves it.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending Tiny Stars for 3 years now, and my daughter for 1 year. They both love the staff and we feel they are very well looked after. The nursery offers a range of activities, and they really enjoy the softplay area and garden. We would definitely recommend this nursery, and have 2 very happy kids there!

Read on GoogleThe nursery has seen some lows whilst our son has attended, however the turn around has been fantastic. The current team that are in place bring structure, professionalism and a real nurturing atmosphere to the nursery. They take relevant observations, set up interesting activities and spend quality time with the children. Glad that our son has carried on here.
