Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are particularly interested in the large climbing frame in the room and use it to self-regulate when upset or overwhelmed. Leaders and staff work alongside outdoor agencies who contribute to education and health care plans to put additional support in place, and children with SEND make good progress at this setting. The curriculum is designed around the individual needs of children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy playing outside in the well-resourced garden. They use stepping stone frogs to enhance their balancing skills.

As a first-time mum, choosing the right nursery was such a big decision for me, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From the very first visit, the staff at Tiny Steps nursery made both my baby and me feel completely welcome and at ease. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do really shines through. My little one settled in quicker than I ever imagined, which was such a relief. The team took the time to understand her personality, routines, and needs, and they always keep me updated with daily reports. It’s clear that they care deeply about the children and create such a nurturing and stimulating environment. The activities they offer are fantastic – from messy play and storytime to outdoor adventures – and I’ve noticed such positive changes in my child’s confidence and development since she started. As a first-time mum, it means everything to know my daughter is happy, safe, and loved while she’s there. I can’t thank the staff enough for making this transition so smooth and positive for us. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and high-quality early years setting!
