Tiny Turtles Daycare, established in 2023, provides childcare on non-domestic premises in Manchester for children aged 1 to 4 years. Open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm all year round, it offers a consistent and nurturing environment for young learners.
The nursery achieved a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 22 August 2025, reflecting its commitment to high-quality education and care. The dedicated staff, often greeted by children with big smiles, create a welcoming atmosphere where children eagerly settle in and engage with a wide range of enticing resources and activities, fostering both independent and peer play.
The curriculum, described as ambitious and well-sequenced by inspectors, focuses on developing independent learners, with children practising skills like cutting vegetables and confidently using cutlery. Tiny Turtles Daycare also strongly supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), providing individualised support and working closely with parents and professionals like speech and language therapists to ensure children make positive achievements.
The nursery extends learning beyond its walls, taking children on visits to local shops to buy baking ingredients and regularly attending a local care home where they share activities with residents, enriching their social development and community awareness. Outdoor learning is an integral part of the curriculum, with inspectors observing its positive impact on children's development alongside indoor provisions.
Parents have expressed high levels of trust, with one commenting, "It's like dropping them off with family," highlighting the strong partnerships and sense of belonging fostered at Tiny Turtles Daycare.

Inclusion & environment
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is strong. The dedicated staff team provides individual support and targets based on children's needs, working in partnership with parents and other professionals, such as speech and language therapists and schools. This enables the use of shared strategies, and children with SEND make positive achievements towards their next steps in learning.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this was having on children's learning.
My child absolutely loves attending this nursery! One of her favourite activities is the water play, which she’s always talking about. The staff are amazing! Very friendly, caring, and attentive. As a parent, it's reassuring to know my child is in such good hands. The nursery itself is always clean and well maintained, creating a safe and happy environment for all the children. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a fantastic early years experience for their little one!
Read on GoogleMy little cousin attended Tiny Turtles in Gorton, and we were blown away by the progress he made. The staff were always so kind and attentive, and Ebony was absolutely amazing – you could tell she genuinely cared about the children and their development. He came home every day excited, more confident, and full of stories about what he’d learned. The environment was nurturing and safe, and communication with parents and carers was great too. We’re so grateful for the support and care he received. Highly recommend!

Read on GoogleMy son has been going for a year now and they treat him so good. I get regular updates on his development on the app and at the end of every day his key worker tells me what he's eaten and what he's done. They really do care for the kids that are under their care. My son hadn't gone for a few days as he was ill they rang to make sure he was okay. He's grown up so much since going and has started talking more. He's learnt so much more there than he would've done at home. Really recommend and love every staff that works there. As a parent you're skeptical about who you leave your child with and I was so hesitant but now I have such peace of mind after seeing how they are with him.
Read on GoogleMy son has been going here for over a year & he loves it! Always happy to see the staff. They go out of there way to help myself or my son to make things run smooth! I feel at ease leaving my son especially with having bad experiences with other nurseries with my eldest son Great job girls Xx
