Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff work together to promptly identify when children require extra help and support. They work closely with parents and other agencies to put appropriate support in place and reduce barriers to children's learning. Leaders also work closely with parents to support and guide them through referrals and gaining extra help and support for children with early concerns related to special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

Daily trips to local play areas allow children of all ages to extend their physical development. Staff are fully aware of barriers children have to physical development and ensure that opportunities to support them are part of daily routines.

EAL / language support

Staff work closely with parents to support children who speak English as an additional language by gathering key words and carrying out cultural activities. This helps children develop confidence and feel included as they learn key words to communicate.

I have been extremely happy with childcare service provided. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the children’s wellbeing and development. My child looks forward to going every day and always comes home happy and full of stories. The environment is safe, clean, and nurturing. There is a good interpersonal relationship with the Manager. She knows her onions. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my little one to learn and grow! I will recommend TotallyKidz day nursery to anyone.

Exceptional care and learning environment. I can’t speak highly enough of Totally Kidz Day Nursery. The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely care about every child. My daughter settled in so quickly thanks to their kind and reassuring approach. The nursery is always clean and well-organised, and I love the variety of activities: from messy play to outdoor adventures. Their communication is excellent; I receive daily updates and photos, which give me peace of mind. My child has grown in confidence, independence, and speech since joining. Both of my children go here and they love it. My youngest has only just started. The care and attention that the staff give is wonderful - they really get to know your child and give them the support they need. My eldest has been going since she was 12months old. Over this time I have seen her go from being reserved and enjoying playing on her own, to making lots of friends and being much more confident. She is very happy here and the staff have supported her needs every step of the way. Giving her comfort, space, and support when she needed it, allowing her to enjoy more peaceful play. My son has been attending Totally Kidz for almost a year, and he absolutely loves it! He gets so excited to go each time, and the staff has been incredibly helpful. He often tells me how kind and supportive everyone is. It’s one of the few places where he truly feels comfortable. A big thank-you to all the wonderful staff and management.
