About this day nursery

5 years up until primary school age can flourish. Established for over 40 years, the preschool prides itself on its experienced and devoted team who craft activities to cater to each child's individual interests and developmental needs.

Situated within St Thomas a Becket Church, the preschool has a small, intimate setting, accommodating up to 12 children per session, which allows for deeper connections between staff and children. They operate a Keyperson system, ensuring every child receives personalised attention, with regular observations and assessments to track progress.

Tower Preschool actively engages with the local community, participating in various events and celebrating important calendar milestones. They value strong parent-carer partnerships, keeping parents informed daily about their child's activities and journey through the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Staff quickly recognise when children need extra support. They make timely referrals and develop strategies, such as focused support for those with speech delays. Staff ensure children make outstanding progress while waiting for additional help.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
