Parents describe the nursery as warm, responsive and emotionally supportive, highlighting that staff know their children well and communicate clearly.
The nursery prioritises communication and language development through rich language spaces, stories, and conversations. Babies learn to name objects and enjoy familiar rhymes, while older children clap syllables and play sound-matching games.
For children with speech delays, the team provides repetition, prompts, and gentle encouragement. Mathematics is integrated into everyday interactions, encouraging children to explore concepts of size, quantity, and problem-solving through activities like filling containers during water play or counting bricks in construction.
Children benefit from regular outdoor play, nature walks and enrichment activities such as gardening and sports coaching. They go on walks to fields for physical sessions and engage in climbing, obstacle courses and movement games to support coordination and strength.
Even babies are encouraged to squeeze sponges and pull themselves up on equipment, and young children explore play dough and make marks with spice-infused paint to support physical confidence, sensory exploration and early writing skills. The staff team also works to create a sense of community, supporting families through transitions with home learning packs, lending resources and practical assistance.
