The manager liaises with other professionals and support is given to children who have additional needs.

Outdoor space

Practitioners ensure that children all go for walks and outings in the local community daily, to allow for fresh air and discussions about the world. The recently built outdoor space is currently a work in progress. Children can access some bats and balls, bicycles and mark-making equipment. However, the floor covering has not been considered to allow babies to explore the outdoor space more freely and extend opportunities for all children.

Our daughters have been in this nursery for only a couple of months and yet their social skills and independence have greatly improved. The staff is very professional, caring and enthusiastic. There is a wide range of toys and every day different educational activities. Our toddler looks extremely happy to go and has learned a lot of new words, songs and she loves the staff and the other children. Our baby is getting settled and the staff have been very understanding and patient, really supporting us and her in the adjustments, and she is now a much happier child even at home. The management is always welcoming and approachable and gives us continuous feedback and information about our children's development. As a mother of 3, who has had experience with different childcare providers, I truly recommend this nursery.

I was searching for a nursery for my toddler and like any parent I was worried about leaving her and worried about if she would be OK and have fun. Since being at Twizzle tops she has come on leaps and bounds, made new friends and really enjoys it. The staff are always happy and very welcoming, encouraging and communication is brilliant. I am so happy that I was able to find a nursery that my child loves and on days when she isn't in she talks about her friends and the staff

Our son started at Twizzle tops a few months ago , and although I was initially nervous the staff were great and re assuring. They worked incredibly hard to get him settled and happy which I am so great full for and now he looks forward to going to nursery. The updates on the app are brilliant, I can see what he’s eaten and how he’s slept throughout his session and they also send pictures of all the things he’s been up too which is fantastic to see. Great communication from the entire team, and the activities and toys in the nursery are excellent. I feel safe and happy sending my son to Twizzle tops And have seen an improvement in his development too. Thank you to all the team and we’re looking forward to many more months to come. Twizzle Tops Day business is the worst. They recently bought a nursery in Peterborough and instead of operating it, like they said would do, they shut it down!!! And they only let parents know Friday after 17:00. I am sure that this wasn't a decision that made at 16:50, right? I will not say how stressful was that for all the parents, you can imagine that. I will say that they didn't think our children!! They didn't give them the time to say goodbye to their friends and to their teachers. It was awful!!! Oh, I should also say that they offered us a solution.. To take our children from Peterborough every morning and take them to Cambridge or to Stevenage!!! I don't care about the money, or how a business must be operating. They hurt my child's feelings!!!!!!
