SEND provision

The setting ensures that all children are welcomed, including those children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). All staff are very knowledgeable in supporting children with learning gaps, creating timely plans and targets, and adapting activities for inclusivity. Children with SEND make secure progress, supported by additional adults, resources, and regular staff training.

Outdoor space

Children have daily access to the farm area and fresh air. Staff use these experiences to build on children's learning of the world around them. Younger children explore the farm, looking for muddy puddles to jump and develop their physical skills. Children build on their physical skills as they explore the farm, walking, running and jumping as they move through the different areas.

Our daughter has been at Twizzle Tops since 2017 and loves it, it has been a crucial part of her development. The nursery makes great use of the resources they have available to them being on the farm; I wish I got visits from ducklings in the summer, got to feed baby goats and had a soft play area in the canteen! The seasonal events they put on at the farm for Christmas, Halloween, etc are brilliant and nursery goers get entry included in their membership. They're a wonderful way to get the whole family involved. The staff are super helpful, friendly and professional and I have no reservations about leaving my child in their care. Overall Twizzle Tops is a safe, enriching and fun environment for my daughter and would highly recommend any parent to consider sending their children here!

My eldest son started at Twizzle Tops Marsh Farm shortly after it opened. We were very happy with the care he received and the way his key worker pushed him to excel. My youngest has now been going for about 7 months and he absolutely loves it. His face lights up when we arrive and that can only be a good sign of the fun that he has. The staff are brilliant and the children receive an amazing experience on the farm. They get to join in all the special events.

Twizzle Tops is a lovely nursery within the setting of Marsh Farm. The staff are great with the children and work closely with the parents. They offer special family events and put on open days for families. The children go out on the farm daily to visit the animals and get to meet and feed them too. A great experience for any child to be part of. I would highly recommend the nursery for your little ones!

My daughter started here this year, and is absolutely thriving! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and dote on the kids so much. I wouldn't recommend anywhere for childcare needs.

A brilliant nursery! Our little boy loves going and has lots to tell us when he comes home. His key worker Emma has been very supportive, informative and lovely! The children visit the farm, soft play, tractor rides and river walks as well as doing lots of creative and engaging activities within the nursery rooms.
