UCL Nursery, established in 2011, offers a nurturing environment for children aged 0-2 years, operating from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The nursery, rated 'Good' by Ofsted in March 2022, focuses on building close and supportive relationships between staff and children.
The curriculum is designed to be broad and enriching, with a strong emphasis on individual interests and home routines to help children settle and thrive. The nursery prides itself on children making good progress, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
A high priority is placed on physical development, evidenced by a dedicated gym room with equipment like hump bridges and climbing frames, as well as a well-designed outdoor area. Children also benefit from a dedicated sensory room and engage in a range of creative and stimulating activities.
The nursery’s approach to behaviour and attitudes was rated as 'Outstanding', with children displaying excellent attitudes to learning and social skills, such as sharing and turn-taking.

UCL Nursery registered in 2011. It is located in Bloomsbury in the London Borough of Camden. The nursery is open each weekday from 8.30am to 5.30pm for 49 weeks of the year and is closed on public bank holidays. There are 13 staff, including the manager, all of whom hold appropriate early years qualifications. This includes one staff member who holds qualified teacher status and three staff members who have a degree in early years education.
