Ulceby Pre-School Playgroup & Out of School Club, established in 1997, offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for children aged 24 to 55 months. Open all year round, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, the pre-school ensures a structured day that helps children thrive.
Children settle in well and form strong bonds with their key workers through a well-organised settling-in process. The committed staff work closely with parents and external agencies to provide tailored support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring they flourish.
The curriculum offers a rich variety of experiences, including local outings and interactions with pets, fostering a love for learning. Children develop good self-care skills and increasing independence through clear routines and expectations.
They have access to a wide range of indoor and outdoor resources, which keeps them engaged and enhances their learning. Staff actively encourage physical activity, with children making good use of the outdoor area and climbing equipment to develop their gross motor skills.
Parents consistently praise the caring staff, effective communication, and the progress their children make, highlighting the supportive advice offered when needed.
