Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents express how happy they are with the setting and specifically mention how the staff recognise changes in their child's behaviour.
The parents report that they receive ample information about their child's learning, which promotes parent partnerships.
Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator is knowledgeable and ensures ample information is shared between parents, outside professionals, and staff. Children have personalised plans in place, providing them with one-to-one sessions to progress them further in their learning journey. All children make good progress.
Children enjoy picking their own herbs from the setting's vegetable patch to make 'soup' in the mud kitchen area. They copy staff who enthusiastically smell the herbs and encourage children to do the same, expressing how they feel when touching wet mud and adding water. Children are independent, collecting and transporting their own water using large jugs, and finding their own wellington boots and aprons before messy activities.
Can't imagine a better nursery for my children. My oldest one has been attending here for 3 years now, and my youngest one started in May 2021. The staff is lovely, always with a smile on their face. They always keep me well-informed how the day went. My children are happy and love playing at nursery with their friends. I'm often surprised how much my children learn at nursery and how many new and creative things they do together. I feel lucky I found such good care and don't need to worry about them since I had to go back to work.
