how affectionate staff go above and beyond in providing effective care practices which promote children's confidence, resilience and independence.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Small bespoke group activities ensure that all children, including children who receive additional funding, have tailored directed support to succeed. As a result, all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make significant progress in all areas of learning. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Babies flourish and develop their confidence and muscle strength by climbing soft-play apparatus in preparation to walk. Weekly forest school and regular trips to the allotment mean children learn to solve problems, build positive peer relationships and gain a respect for nature. The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and outdoors, including the forest school.

My son has been attending Wellington nursery for just over a year. He really enjoys his time there and I can’t fault the standard of care they provide for him. My son has a great relationship with the girls and I often struggle to get him to come home at the end of the day!

Absolutely awful service from Adam Beales. I've made two phone appointments for my sons 2 year review with this person and on both occasions he failed to call. He only contacted me after I reached out to him asking if our appointment was still happening. I asked for our review to be passed to one his colleagues to be completed, since he clearly wasn't reliable. Now I've received a letter accusing me of declining a review and that I am being reported to my GP! Atrocious service and I have written evidence of all this.
