Inclusion & environment
There is a clear curriculum to support children's learning and development, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
All children practise climbing, balancing and running. Staff support them to manage risks safely, for example when climbing the adventure wall and celebrating their achievement. Children put on their coats to play outdoors.
My son moved from a previous nursery to this and I can honestly say I didn't know how good a nursery could be without experiencing this one before! This is massively accredited to the staff who spent at least 5 minutes at the end of the day talking to me about my child. Not only what they had done in nursery that day making me smile and knowing that he was truly loved and cared for in my absence but by how much they all paid attention to HIS day as an individual and really enthusing about it and enjoying telling me as much as I loved to hear it. Not just his key worker, but all staff including the friendly and welcoming manager. He was confident and loving towards them and their chef. It was such a lovely community driven place to be a part of where you felt part of the nursery family too. Clear communication for creative and inclusive events and helpful, caring staff. Always child centred for what they would enjoy and the push to achieve for them. What an amazing place to send my child. I couldn't recommend them enough! Thankyou all xxx
Read on GoogleI can’t thank this nursery enough for everything they’ve done for my son over the past two years. From day one, I always felt listened to and supported, and it meant so much to know his wellbeing was a priority. The staff are so kind, nurturing, and dedicated. They created a safe, happy space where he’s thrived and grown in confidence. There was never a silly question or query everyone was happy to listen/support. We’re leaving with so many happy memories and endless gratitude. I highly recommend!
Read on GoogleAll 4 of my grandchildren have attended Wellingtons Nursery since it opened in 2019. I can honestly say every single one of them has loved their time at the Nursery. The staff have always provided a welcoming and nurturing environment where each of my grandchildren have flourished. We as grandparents have always been invited in to events they put on for families and we always love the extra special touches they do especially the Christmas concert, the school leavers graduation, sports days and breakfast with Santa. These are all added extras on top of the excellent care they offer. My grandson has always had a love for maths and numbers and they went above and beyond to support this, through extra support sessions and interventions. All 4 are thriving in school now and I believe it is down to all the amazing work Wellingtons put in to them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality care. Thank you
Read on GoogleAbsolutely fantastic experience at Wellington's Nursery! My child had an amazing time there and the staff were super helpful and supportive. Special shoutout to the staff who taught him maths- they made learning fun and engaging for my little one! We're really impressed with the care and attention they receive. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!
Read on GoogleI would like to thank Jo , Fiona and all the staff for looking after my grandsons over the past few years. All the staff are so pleasant and accommodating. The youngest grandson hasn’t been the easiest child but they’ve dealt with him so well. He has now started school but will be still going back in the holidays. Would highly recommend the nursery
