The nursery opens Monday to Friday, all year round. Sessions are from 7.30am until 6pm. Wraparound and out-of-school care are also available each weekday from 7am until 9am, and 3pm until 6pm, during term time. A holiday club is available from 7am until 6pm, in the school holidays.

Parents are involved in all aspects of their children's learning. They comment about the impact for them and their families with the changes imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. They offer their compliments to leaders and staff regarding how they managed this. This included providing home learning packs, regular 'keep in touch' sessions and devising a smooth transition on the return to the setting.
Inclusion & environment
Children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, thrive in all aspects of their development. Staff liaise very closely with parents and other professionals to focus on specific areas of development. Leaders use additional funding to target specific areas of development for children and to help them to prepare for their eventual move to school.
Children join in with risk assessments, helping to identify sheets of ice that have formed in the nursery garden and how to make it safe. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
The nursery supports children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who speak English as an additional language.
absolutely love I sent my child to this nursery, they were nothing but welcoming, caring for not only my son but also me and his dad. always asked how we were and if my son was off for illness they always offered if we needed anything at all to ring them. they are such an amazing bunch of people my son thrived because of them! if they had any concerns they were so respectful in talking about it my son needed speech therapy noticed via nursery and they worked amazing with us and speech therapist. my sons been left 5 month and still talks about them all daily. they go above and beyond for all not just the children !

Highly recommend west park kindergarten, my little girl has been there since 8 months old and is now 2. We love seeing what she’s been learning and getting up to through her private online learning journal, she’s always doing different activities and having lots of fun learning through her play. The girls who work at the nursery are brilliant so warm and welcoming so I never had any worries about leaving my daughter in their care and will also be putting our next child in the nursery aswell when the time comes.

This is an amazing nursery. My little girl went from 8 months old till she was 4. She developed in to a strong independent girl ready for school. The nursery is like a little family and the staff are amazing. My little girl still asks about nursery and remembers all of the staffs name.

My son started here at 4 months old and truly loves his time here! He has become an independent explorer and adores the staff and the interactions they give! I cannot thank the girls enough for making my return to work so easy knowing he is in very safe and capable hands.
