Wetherby House Montessori, established in 2012, operates six locations across London, including Northwood, Harrow, Kensal Rise, Kensal Village, Brondesbury, and a forthcoming Queens Park branch opening in September 2026. The nursery is dedicated to providing a positive, safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children aged 9 months to 5 years, fostering their social, emotional, creative, and learning development.

Our ethos

At Wetherby House Montessori, we support your child’s social, emotional, creative and learning development while providing a positive, safe, healthy and nurturing place for them to thrive. In early childhood education (9 months - 5 years) our goals are: 1) make learning fun and joyful 2) grow self confident children, 3) encourage curiosity, 4) set children up for educational success 5) establish positive "can do" attitudes". We believe that the child should love everything that he learns, for his mental and emotional growths are linked, and whatever is presented to him must be made beautiful and clear, striking his imagination. Once this love has been kindled, all problems confronting the educationalist will disappear.

Phenomenal nursery- from the staff, the setting, the thought and care that goes into the activities on topics to help the children learn about the world around them while developing their emotional, mental, physical areas in line with EYFS. There are additional activities as the children get older such as Spanish, etc. All the key workers for my little one have been nothing short of outstanding, with so much warmth & care. Clear communication through an app where they can also share what our little one is up to. Feeling very lucky to have found such a lovely setting.

I called to book a viewing for the preschool room and the receptionist was not accommodating at all. I was was refused even to book a viewing as soon as I called because my daughter would have been 3 at the time of joining. I was looking for preschool admission from 3-5 years of age was refused a viewing even though they had spaces. First impressions were not welcoming at all over the phone. Definitely not a family oriented nursery, more of a business than early year teaching.

Wetherby House Montessori Harrow is an outstanding nursery. I've had two daughters flourish in this EYFS setting and they've adored every second. The staff are second to none and the facilities are brilliant. Every activity is well planned and executed. Nursery outings are such fun for the children and they hold on to those memories always. Even better, the food! My fussy children ate everything they were offered and always returned home with full, happy tummy's. I highly recommend Wetherby House Montessori Harrow to any parent searching for the very best early years setting for their little ones.

We wholeheartedly recommend Wetherby House Montessori Harrow to any parent looking for a loving, educational, and safe environment for their little ones. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and at ease. The caring and attentive staff truly make this place a second home for our daughters. The emphasis on safety and cleanliness is evident, which is so important for peace of mind as parents. What I appreciate most is the staff’s dedication to fostering individual growth and development. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our daughters to grow and thrive!
