For example, they introduce cosy spaces in each room for children to use to regulate their emotions safely when they become overwhelmed. This supports children to manage their feelings with good levels of maturity.

Outdoor space

The management team and staff use additional funding to support the individual needs of children effectively. For example, they purchase a wide range of resources to support children to develop their physical skills and build on their preference of learning outdoors. Staff plan to continue to enhance their garden space to further develop children's already good learning experiences outdoors. The inspector viewed the indoor and outdoor learning environments.

My children started just as new management took over now two year ago, and I cannot fault the ladies and gentlemen for what they do. What I love about WittyKiddies: ⭐️ The app is updated through the day with the children’s meal times and how much they ate. They open the children to variety of foods and cultures which I value. The EYFS assessments are also uploaded and pictures of any activities the children will get up to is there to view and download. ⭐️ Their day is communicated at pick up and the nursery is very good at working with the parents for behaviour management and administering any learning goals. A termly newsletter is sent at start of each term with key dates and learning focus for the coming term. ⭐️ The vicinity is very secure and clean. You are familiar with the faces of the regular staff members. ⭐️ Witty Kiddies show value and appreciation to parents of the children which is very touching. ⭐️ Flexibility for booking patterns are available should you give them advance notice. Below are pictures of a recent Mother’s Day event organised by the nursery which was lovely to see our children in their setting, play with them whilst interacting with other parents. 🤩 If there was room for improvement, I would like to see more pictures of children’s activities on the app. Taking part in termly activities and learning. I would recommend Witty Kiddies nursery to any parent as I know your children are in the best care and you can see your child is happy and is learning whilst growing so fast ☺️🥰

I wish I could give 0 stars. Witty Kiddies in Gillingham is a complete disgrace. My niece was bitten twice by the same child, weeks apart, and the staff did absolutely nothing to protect her, even after the first incident. We understand that toddlers bite. That’s not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of care, communication, and responsibility from the people running this place. After the first incident, promises were made, that she’d be closely supervised, not grouped with the same child again, and that any future incident would result in an immediate call. They even claimed the other child would be placed on a 1:1 ratio for extra supervision. All lies. She was bitten again, and once again, no phone call. Just another lazy update dropped onto the Parent Portal hours later. No apology. No sense of urgency. Nothing. Just an absolutely tone-deaf comment that “the child just likes her.” That’s their explanation for repeated injuries? The incident reports were a joke. No mention of the actual damage to her skin.. just blank spaces where injury details should have been? Meanwhile, the child was left with scabs and visible marks ! This nursery clearly doesn’t take safeguarding seriously. They say whatever they think parents want to hear, then do the bare minimum when it really matters. This is why we will be escalating these failures to follow procedure and safeguard for investigation. If you care even a little bit about your child’s wellbeing, keep them far away from this place. Untrustworthy, careless, and unsafe.

Our experience at Witty Kiddies Gillingham has been deeply disappointing and ultimately led us to withdraw our daughter. She was bitten twice by the same child, on two separate occasions. We immediately brought the first incident to the staff's attention and were promised that they would implement a plan to prevent it from happening again. Despite those promises, the second biting incident occurred, making it clear that their efforts were insufficient. This situation has caused us significant concern about the nursery's safeguarding practices, supervision, and communication. We trusted Witty Kiddies to keep our daughter safe, but due to their negligence, we no longer feel confident in their ability to do so. This deeply troubling experience has also caused us to lose trust in other nurseries, making us incredibly hesitant to leave our child in nurseries.

The organisation was great. Great job! I would just suggest that maybe the school could send the songs the children will sing to the parents. If we could practice with them more at home.

My daughter has had such an amazing experience at this nursery. The staff members are lovely and provide excellent care, my daughter always comes back happy. You can tell that the staff here work really hard and genuinely care about each and every child that attends. She calls the staff members her friends and that says so much, she comes back having learnt new things - attending this nursery has given her so much confidence and she has become such a character, the influence that staff have had on her has helped shaped her into the bright funny girl she is today. I highly recommend this nursery, and hope that the staffs hard work and dedication is recognised.
