How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator (SENDCo) works closely with parents, staff and other professionals to ensure children with SEND and those who speak English as an additional language receive the support they need. They have implemented small focused groups to help support children's communication and language, enabling staff to act quickly to close identified gaps in learning.

Outdoor space

Children use the outside play area with large tyres and balancing beams where staff encourage climbing and balancing to develop muscle strength and spatial awareness. The manager has used additional funding to support and enhance children's engagement with the outdoor area.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language receive support through the SENDCo's work and small focused groups to support communication and language.
