Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, are making good progress due to staff having high expectations.
Leaders recognise that planning for outdoor learning is not always given the same detailed consideration and does not fully support children who prefer to learn outdoors. However, leaders have exciting and ambitious plans to further develop the outdoor learning environments. Children benefit from daily, energetic outdoor play.
Honestly cannot rate Woodlands Day Nursery and their staff enough. All of the staff are absolutely amazing and it's hard to find that at a nursery. They all care and look after your children like they are their own, whether it be the manager or kitchen staff. All the staff know each child by name no matter which room they are in, which I think is lovely. I have had 2 children who started one in hedgehogs and the other in bunnies, all the way up to the two leaving to go to reception in primary. Now my youngest has been in since 3 months old and started in the baby owls room and is now 18 months, in the bunnies room and he has developed so much over this period of time. The ladies can't do enough for your children and I always recommend to everyone I know with children. I'm from Bolton and have tried a few nurseries before finding the Woodlands family and am so glad I have because I genuinely wouldn't want anybody else to take care of my babies. 25 minute drive but it's so worth it!
Read on GoogleWoodlands is a fantastic nursery, with lovely staff who have many years experience and training. My little boy started when he began the diagnosis process for ASD. The nursery staff were 100% supportive and gave us continual support and guidance throughout the entire process, and even assisted with applying for his EHCP. He has delayed speech, and when he met speech therapist for the first time at his new school (reception this year) she was very pleased with his progress. This wouldn’t have been the case without the Woodlands team’s work with SALT and our son during his time with him. He has thrived and blossomed under their care and come on leaps and bounds! I can’t recommend them enough.
Read on GoogleMy little girl started here when she was about 10 months old. She is now 3 and has just started in the preschool room and is absolutely loving it. we have had the pleasure of experiencing all the different rooms during the years and most (if not all) of the staff and I don't have 1 negative thing to say. I can confidently say my little girl would not be the bubbly, kind and happy little girl she is is today without woodlands. I would 1000000% reccomend this nursery to anybody xx
