Inclusion & environment
Sometimes, children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are not always challenged as much as others, particularly when their key worker is absent from the setting. The provider should also consider the needs of every child during forest school activities, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, to ensure every child is challenged and engaged appropriately.
Children love being outdoors and staff ensure that, no matter what the weather, children of all ages can play outside. A particular strength of this setting is the access children have to the outdoors, including free-flow access and regular access to a forest school, which helps develop good physical skills and confidence.
Both my children have attended Woodlands nursery and have absolutely loved their time there. The staff are amazing and both my children really loved getting absolutely filthy enjoying themselves and learning new things at forest school. Highly recommend!!!

Read on GoogleMy daughter loves going to nursery and doesn’t want to leave when I pick her up. She is especially excited on forest school weeks to spend time down in the forest doing different activities. She has developed and grown so much in her time at woodlands.
