Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The passionate staff team demonstrates a secure commitment to inclusion and warmly embraces the individuality of each child. Leaders and staff work closely with parents and external professionals to provide holistic and targeted support, implementing targets swiftly. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make excellent progress from their starting points, as staff are skilled in early identification of needs and confidently identify and address learning barriers. Additional funding and specialised equipment effectively support individual needs, helping to close learning gaps. Leaders and staff benefit from ongoing high-quality training, including recent training on supporting children's communication development, enabling them to skilfully use visual aids, sign language, and timetables.

Outdoor space

Children develop their physical skills. Babies practise crawling through tunnels and pulling to standing using low-level furniture, developing good core strength. Children are well prepared for their next stage in learning and chop their own fruit, and confidently put on their own wetsuit for outdoor play. Leaders have provided a programme of training to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff, for example, training has focused on mathematical development and outdoor learning.
