Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well. The nursery has strong relationships with other professionals, and leaders work effectively to implement agreed plans to support individual needs, ensuring children with SEND make good progress.
Children have ample opportunity to play outside and be active. They play on bicycles, ride-on toys and use the slide.
My daughter, Ellie, joined the Village Nursery when she was 7.5 months old. Naturally, I was so worried about leaving her at a nursery so early. The admin team and the baby room team were so supportive of easing both Ellie and myself into this new phase. They took the time to offer plenty settling in sessions, and answered all of my many questions! I cannot stress how amazing the team are, they did so much to reassure us and support Ellie, and it's now been almost 4.5 months and she's absolutely thriving! She's developing so well, absolutely loves the ladies in the baby room and the nursery. It's like a second family there, and whilst I was so nervous about leaving her - it's been the best decision. The ladies are so good with Ellie and have taken the time to know her likes and dislikes, and even know when's she's not herself. They go above and beyond, . Thank you so much! Def recommend! :)
Read on GoogleMy little girl started at the village when she was 13 months old. From the initial settling in period to now, we have felt so supported through every stage. My little girl is now in the Toddler room and runs to the door each morning and often says "stay at nursery" when we pick her up. She's developed friendships and attachments to the staff and is developing beautifully. They offer outside play as much as possible. It's not the cheapest around but you pay for home cooked meals and they cater for my littlest girls dietary requirements (veggie) and it's worth every penny to see her develop and thrive. We are so glad we chose the village ❤️
Read on GoogleMy daughter has recently started attending nursery here at 14 months old. The settling in process was quite a difficult time for both myself and my daughter due to how upset she was. I can’t thank the staff enough for all they did for us during those few weeks. They were so warm and welcoming, and offered so much support to us both. We needed quite a few additional settling sessions which were always accommodated easily. I am so pleased we chose this nursery for our daughter and we are looking forward to seeing how much she will grow and develop here over the next few years.
Read on GoogleThe care and fun provided by the staff at The Village Nursery and Preschool has helped my daughter develop and learn at her own pace in a nurturing environment. The communication is timely and effective on all occasions in relation to everything and everyone is so willing and happy to help. There have been so many wonderful opportunities provided to the children from local visits to Christmas nativity plays has helped her to have a well rounded experience. My friends little girl starts here soon such has been my recommendation of this early years provider.
Read on GoogleSuch a lovely nursery! Our daughter thrives here and loves the girls in waddlers. We feel like they’ve made a special effort to get to know our baby and her likes and dislikes. Thankyou!
