Leaders have begun to improve the curriculum and staff feel well supported. Children have access to an outdoor area where they use bikes, a slide and stepping stones, and also engage in sand and water play. The report noted that while progress had been made to address weaknesses, inconsistencies in planning and teaching remained. Ofsted recommended strengthening staff supervision and improving teaching skills to ensure children consistently benefit from rich learning experiences.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy spending time outdoors. They are confident to engage in physical play that helps them develop balance and coordination. They skilfully ride bikes, balance on stepping stones and enjoy going up and down the slide. Staff also provide quieter learning opportunities outdoors including sand and water play and some mark-making activities to meet individual interests.
