About this day nursery

These include ensuring the designated safeguarding lead has the necessary knowledge and training to refer concerns about children's safety and welfare, and to identify and respond to signs of abuse and neglect.

Our son has attended ABC childcare for just over a year now. He started off in the House and is now in the play space. From the minute I stepped into ABC for a look around I felt the warm and welcoming environment. Throughout his time there we have found all staff to be really friendly and professional. I feel they plan and deliver a well rounded curriculum of activities and really care about the individual needs and interests of your child. We would highly recommend ABC to anyone and feel it has been an excellent start for our son, he goes in happy every day and comes out happy every night, which is all a parent could wish for.

My daughter loves attending the ABC house, all the staff are lovely and wonderful with the children, they’ve really helped her development and I can say that attending the nursery has made her thrive! The setting has a really homely vibe to it which is why it was my nursery of choice. Can’t thank the team enough for all they do, if I’ve ever had an issue or something I wanted to check with them I’ve always got a response in a timely manner aswell which helps when life is just so busy, the more corporate nurseries around the local area I feel lack their personal touch.

I cannot put into words how special this setting really is. Every single member of staff is committed to the children they care for. They are extremely hard working and put an awful lot of thought and time into planning exciting learning activities for the children. They offer a large variety of learning experiences that engage the children and help them to grow and develop. My son especially enjoyed his visits to the allotment and learning about nature. ABC has great outdoor facilities for the children too. My son also loved playing with the footballs and riding on the bikes (which he told me about when he got home). My son has never been happier than when we was attending this setting. He would skip in in the mornings and not want to come home when I picked him up! He would always ask to stay longer. I trust the staff completely and I truly felt that they invested time in getting to know my son individually and cared about his needs and interests. What a fabulous team they are ! Would recommend to any parent in the area looking for a friendly, exciting and caring environment for their child.

Warm friendly and so welcoming, my little girl always has a smile walking into nursery, the staff are well communicated and let me know if anything happens the app is amazing as I can see all what my girl has eaten and when her nappy was changed and even better when they put pictures of activities they have been doing. It’s a clean environment with that homely feel. Having a few nursery’s near by I’m so glad I went with ABC childcare as it’s helped my little girl with confidence, her talking and eating and her positive attitude.

Our little girl Poppy loves going to abc, all the amazing team are so good with her. She often talks about them at home. She’s always excited to go there, and in the nearly 2 years attending, she’s never said once that she doesn’t want to go, which is a credit to abc. We feel Poppy has come on so much with her learning. They also helped Poppy lots with her potty training, she took to it so quickly, and they played a big part in that. They do so much with the children, from painting, baking to visiting the allotments and the park. We thank you ABC.
