Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents speak warmly about the care and education their children receive in the nursery.
They state that they feel well informed about their children's development and know how to help with their learning at home.
Inclusion & environment
The leaders and staff work in close partnership with parents and other professionals to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They carefully consider strategies to support these children and ensure that staff implement these strategies into their individual learning plans. Consequently, children with SEND make the best possible progress.
Children enjoy being outdoors, where they have many opportunities to be active and to explore. They spend time building with large blocks, and staff use these opportunities to introduce mathematics to children.
The many children who speak English as an additional language show their developing skills, such as singing enthusiastically in English. Staff use sign language and picture prompts to help children understand the daily routines.
Started attending kindergarten in September and after a month I can't recognize my child. The first days, of course, were difficult because adapting to a new place and people can rarely be easy. The staff is always very friendly, attentive to the child. Since I started with the fact that I don't recognize my child, this applies to his beginning of speech, social inclusion in the group and children, he became more confident, more stable and even cunning;) of course, I would like better conditions in the kindergarten, but the main thing is that the child feels good among the people who surround him there.
Read on GoogleThis nursery is fantastic. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time there. What stood out to me was the staff's dedication to helping my 2-year-old settle in, their flexibility in accommodating our schedules, and their commitment to the children's well-being. The uniform is colourful and vibrant, and my daughter loved wearing it. We received regular updates and photos through Tapestry, which was always delightful, and it was always easy to communicate with the teachers and the head, Bibich. The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer meals and to enhance the playground area. Additionally, the entrance area on the left could be better utilised.
Read on GoogleHappy to bring my son to Abracadabra. Warm welcome to my son at the beginning. Patient, smiley staff. Plenty of toys, specially outdoor (wich I didn't see on day visiting) My son doesn't want to go home never. And when comes in the morning he receive hug and smile that let him go in. Amazed by that.
