Active8 Minds Chichester provides engaging sports and creative activities for children and young people aged 3-16, aiming to inspire and support their physical, mental, and social growth. Since 2024, they have partnered with over 10 schools and preschools across West Sussex, delivering tailored clubs and activities.

Their offerings include school and preschool clubs, action-packed holiday clubs, lunchtime clubs, PE and PPA cover for schools, and transition clubs to help children adapt to new environments. They also engage in community project work, offering free pledges to partner schools.

The organisation focuses on fostering self-confidence, resilience, social skills, leadership, teamwork, improved concentration, and mental well-being through a blend of sport, creativity, and wellbeing initiatives. Their mission is to create a positive impact at individual, group, and community levels, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

They offer flexible and affordable childcare solutions, including before and after-school care, and are proud to support the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, providing free spaces for eligible children.

Amazing half term club at my son's school. He was only going to go for one day but loved it so much that he asked to go back for two further days. Special shout-out to Tom, Joe, Charlotte and Harvey who have a relentless energy and enthusiasm. Keeping the kids entertained and keeping up with the kids' energy from 9am - 4pm is no mean feat ❤️

My son (7yo autistic) thoroughly enjoyed holiday club at JYS. Tom and Joe were amazing and Harvey kept in touch as to how my son was getting on. Highly recommend!

Great club, positive and engaged staff with a range of activities, excellent culture lead by Harvey. My children attend breakfast and holiday clubs and are always keen to run in and slow to want to leave :)

Wonderful school holiday club. There is clearly a friendly and inclusive culture amongst the A8M team. My children always come away wanting to go again the following day. They particularly like being looked after by Tom and, as a parent, I always feel confident in Jack’s leadership.

Our son recently attended both at the Prebendal School and in East Wittering, he had the best time ever! Such a great recommendation from the Prebendal School. Apart from the fun range of sports and craft activities, the staff were amazing. Very professional as well as “child friendly”. Our son felt totally at ease and looked forward to each day. We will be booking more this summer and hopefully in the future. What a great find and a big thank you!
