The nursery boasts purpose-built premises with bright and spacious interiors, aiming to create a happy, safe, and secure environment where children feel loved. The facility is divided into three age-specific rooms: the Bumble Bee room for babies from 3 months to 2 years, the Caterpillar room for 2-3 year olds, and the Butterflies room for 3-5 year olds.
Each room has its own daily routines and is equipped with age-appropriate toys, encouraging learning through play and fostering the child's full potential. The nursery also provides healthy meals prepared freshly on-site by a dedicated cook, using seasonal ingredients, and holds a 5-star food and hygiene rating.
Footprints actively involves parents, offering an education guide to help them support their child's individual educational needs, and fosters positive self-image and confidence in children. They also facilitate smooth transitions for children moving on to school by liaising with local schools and teachers.
The nursery accepts various funding options, including the National Education Grant (NEG) and FEET funding, and offers extended 15-hour and 30-hour funded sessions. They also provide an 11% sibling discount.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders have designed a curriculum that is based around children's communication and language skills, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND concentrate and keep trying as they build towers with stacking cups, turning them over as they place them on top of each other. This helps children develop their concentration skills.
Staff promote children's physical development effectively. They plan a wide range of experiences outdoors to develop children's large muscles. For example, toddlers show they are developing good core strength as they balance on a see-saw.
My son attended Footprints for 2 and a half years and now he is at school and now my other son attends the nursery. I did not need to look at other nurseries I knew I wanted him to go here. He was only 9 months old when he started and now he is 2 and abit and he loves it, his confidence has grown and his is so happy being there. He loves the staff and he is learning so much. I am so pleased with sending both my children there. The staff are amazing and really want to help your children develop to the best they can.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending Footprints Day Nursery since October 2018 he was 21 months old when he started. From the very beginning the manager has been so lovely, supportive and understanding of my situation. My son I suspected was autistic and for him to settle at first it was so difficult for him and me but all the girls are amazing and have been so fantastic with him, he now loves it and I am so happy that he attends this wonderful nursery. I am so glad that i persevered as at times I was thinking of taking him out but with the managers advice i decided to stick with it and I am so happy that I did. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you girls xxx
Read on GoogleMy son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old. From the beginning he started, i knew he was in great hands. All of the girls on the team who have left, and joined have been amazing. They are so professional, and have such a lovely way with all the children. I have always felt comfortable to leave my son knowing he would have lots of fun, eat well, and have the attention he needed. The amount of effort these ladies put in to special events such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas shows & lots of others is really amazing! Always trying to Include the parents where possible. The communication has always been great between us, and will always update you at the end of the day which I loved. I will be REALLY miss all the team here, as will my son. It’s been a really special time that he has had here, and attended. We will never forget that!!
Read on GoogleMy little boy went to footprints from the age of 8 months old right up until he went off to school last year. We were very nervous about sending him into nursery as he is our first baby and you can imagine me as a mum having to let him go! however Emma the manager was amazing and really helped us with the settling in process and throughout the whole time of being there. Hannah which is the deputy and also managing the baby room made my experience so relaxed and even him moving up to the older age group I was consulted throughout and all my worries placed to rest! They even have an online system where I would get daily updates and I could even update them with photos and questions.
Read on GoogleWhat an amazing nursery, my daughter has been at this nursery for 8 months now and loves it so much, she has come so far since starting at footprints, they give daily updates on what your child has been doing during the day which is excellent to know as a parent. The staff are amazing at footprints, they have potty trained my daughter which was amazing so at the age of 2 my daughter is nappy free now all thanks to the staff at Footprints. Keep up the amazing work you all are doing at Footprints. Big thank you to you all.
