Junior Adventures Group @ Fairholme TW14 is an out-of-school club in Feltham, established in 2023, catering to children aged 4-11 years. The club operates during term-time, Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, providing a nurturing and engaging environment for up to 40 children.
The setting prioritises a consistent routine and a supportive atmosphere, using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework to help children develop independence and make purposeful choices. The dedicated staff are adept at adapting strategies to meet the specific needs of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), offering quiet spaces and sensory resources to help children regulate their emotions and participate fully in activities.
Children who speak English as an additional language (EAL) receive clear communication and modelling to help them understand routines and confidently engage in discussions and activities. Parents have expressed positive feedback about the clear communication and the beneficial impact the club has on their children's behaviour, confidence, and enjoyment.

Inclusion & environment
For children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, strategies are adapted to reflect their specific needs, ensuring expectations are appropriate and support is proportionate. Staff recognise when children require support to manage sensory demands and respond calmly using approaches, such as access to quiet spaces and sensory resources. This supports children to regulate and continue engaging in activities, including returning to group play when ready.
Children benefit from regular opportunities to take part in physical activity. These opportunities are planned and supervised, supporting children's physical wellbeing and confidence. Children engage positively in physical activities and show enjoyment and motivation when being active.
Children who speak English as an additional language are supported through clear communication and modelling. Staff use consistent language and allow time for children to process and respond effectively, helping them understand routines, contribute to discussions, and participate confidently in activities.
