Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress from their starting points. Staff are attentive to individual SEND needs, have strong support from the special educational needs coordinator, work closely with other professionals and make timely referrals for early and ongoing support.
Children are physically active and use stepping stones and soft-play equipment, but opportunities for children who prefer outdoor learning are limited. Some children do not access daily outdoor play and fresh air during their time in nursery.
