Inclusion & environment
Assessment and curriculum planning are effective to identify and plan for children who need additional support. All children, including those with additional needs, are encouraged to participate in activities that challenge their learning.
Staff provide regular opportunities for children to play in the fresh air and be physically active. Older children learn to operate a garden hose to fill a tub with water in preparation for their play.
Parents of children who speak English as an additional language state that their children have made good progress from their starting points.
Im sharing to highlight the poor condition of a local nursery called Alpha near Eltham train station. My son has been bitten by another child and had 6 injuries whilst in they're care, he only joined in September! The nursery manager is appalling. She's rude, condescending and is not fit to be managing a childcare setting. The nursery gates do not work properly, the concrete outside is in an awful state (he actually tripped over on this and cut his face open!). There is virtually no lighting which when its dark means you can hardly see and the toys and equipment is all broken. I am writing this to strongly recommend you do mot send your children here. The pictures below show the bite mark on my son and the poor condition of the nursery entrance. Alpha childcare you should be ashamed of yourself! Please share this post to highlight this awful place.
Read on GoogleBoth my kids have been to this nursery. Couldn't be happier, my kids couldn't be happier. Best nursery in South East london my a mile.
