The nursery staff work hard to build a stimulating environment where little ones can develop confidence at their own pace. Dedicated to child-led learning, they promote a joyful learning experience. Every aspect of the nursery has been organised with the children’s happiness in mind. Indoors, the spaces are home to age-appropriate resources that prompt imagination.

Children enjoy attending this warm, welcoming and inclusive provision, settling quickly and feeling happy, safe and secure. They establish strong bonds with kind, nurturing, and patient staff who are highly sensitive to individual needs. Children have positive attitudes to learning and make good progress from their starting points, keen to explore and try new things.
Inspector highlights
- Leaders and staff have made instrumental progress since the last inspection and have wholeheartedly engaged with the local authority.
- Staff are now more confident in their abilities to support children's unique needs through precise and purposeful training opportunities.
- Staff make accurate assessments of children's learning and give careful consideration to children's education, health and care plans.
- Staff are successful in sequencing children's learning, supporting the development of muscles in wrists and hands in readiness for writing.
- Children's communication and language development is supported well through consistent modelling of new language, visual images, and simple sign language.
- Parent partnerships are strong, with parents feeling well informed about their child's progress through daily discussions and a 'link book'.

How they support every child
SEND provision
The setting specialises in care for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff are highly sensitive to children's individual needs. Staff make accurate assessments of children's learning and give careful consideration to children's education, health and care plans, using this information in the planning of activities. Through precise and purposeful training opportunities, staff are now more confident in their abilities to support children's unique needs.
Outdoor space
Children enjoy spending time outdoors. They impressively climb and descend the slide, balance along planks and excitedly jump on the small trampoline, developing strength, coordination and control of their bodies. However, the outdoor learning environment has not been given the same level of consideration as the indoor areas, meaning children who prefer to learn outdoors are not afforded the same high-quality opportunities, although there are plans in place to develop and renovate the outdoor space.
