Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Sometimes opportunities to provide more targeted support to those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are missed. As a result, some children do not make progress as rapidly as they could. The provider should provide more targeted support for children with SEND, to help them make more rapid progress.

Outdoor space

A lack of planned opportunities and activities limits children's learning experiences when playing outside. The provider needs to strengthen the opportunities and activities offered outdoors, to increase the range of learning experiences for children.

My daughter has attended Bonnie Bear daycare since March last year (2024), I can't thank the staff enough for supporting her to settle in and reach new milestones in her development. She is now turning 2 in a few weeks and has became a little chatterbox! She frequently mentions the staff and children at home and will let us know what's she's enjoyed after each day. The nursery offer a wide range of activities to spike the children's interest and not to mention the amazing variety of meals available from their fabulous chef! Special thanks to Hayley, Kelley and the whole management team who are supportive and helpful with everything. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone seeking a home from home environment built to support the development of our favourite little people!

We've just celebrated our sons graduation, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible experience he's had over the past few years. From day one,the staff have been kind, nurturing, and truly invested in his growth and happiness. The environment has always felt safe, welcoming, and full of joy. It's been amazing to see how much he's learned-not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. He's made wonderful friends, developed confidence, and has grown into an enthusiastic, curious little learner. We especially appreciate how the the with us and celebrated even the small milestones. It's clear that every child is seen, valued, and encouraged to thrive. Thank you to all the amazing teachers and staff for giving our sons such a wonderful start. We'll miss you dearly, but we're leaving with the best memories and a strong foundation for the future.

I am thrilled to share my experience with Bonnie Bear Nursery School, where my daughter started when she was just 2 years old as her first nursery school. From day one, we have been impressed by the caring and nurturing staff. They have created a warm and welcoming environment that has made my daughter feel safe and valued. Security is clearly a top priority for the school, and it's reassuring to know that my child is in such good hands. They host a fantastic range of fun themed events throughout the year, which not only engage the children but also involve parents in memorable ways. I want to give a special mention to Hayley, (the owner), who has been incredibly helpful and informative throughout our time at the nursery. Her support and guidance have made our experience even more positive. Overall, I highly recommend Bonnie Bear to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their little ones. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

My son started at Bonnie Bear when he was 18 months and he is leaving in a few weeks to go into reception. The girls there are all absolutely lovely, always willing to help or answer any questions in a timely manner on the app where you can keep up to date with your child throughout the day. My Son has came on amazing thanks to all the girls, he is so clever and always comes home telling me everything he has done that day. He absolutely loves Bonnie and all the staff. The Nursery itself Is always spotless and has amazing facilities for the children. The nursery owner and her husband are always working on new things to make the nursery bigger and better for the children as they put them first.
