Daisy Chain Day Nursery, a family-run establishment, offers quality childcare across Liverpool with settings in Walton and Bebington. The nursery focuses on fostering confident, critical thinkers with a lifelong appreciation for health and well-being, achieved through diverse activities such as reading, creating, exploring, and learning.
Each location provides stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. The Bebington setting, specifically, boasts experienced management with degree-led practice and a variety of facilities.
Care is structured across different rooms: the Little Blossom Room for babies and children under two, where resources are child-level and regularly rotated to reflect interests; the Sunflower Room for two to three-year-olds, focusing on language development, toilet training, and introducing basic academic areas like Maths and Literacy, while also offering outdoor play year-round; and the Bluebell Nursery Room for three to five-year-olds, which prepares children for school through academic activities and promoting independent skills. The nursery encourages diversity and offers extensive outdoor play opportunities, providing wet suits for all children regardless of weather.
They are committed to children's individual learning levels and interests, promoting curiosity through various resources.
Our ethos
We encourage all of our children to learn about each other and tell others about themselves to promote equality and diversity within the community. We promote curiosity through offering a wide range of loose parts and fascination opportunities based on the children’s individual learning levels and interests. Outdoor play is an important part of what we offer at Daisy Chain and we provide stimulating and exciting play opportunities outside in all seasons regardless of the weather.

Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress from their starting points. The special educational needs coordinator (SENDCo) makes timely referrals to a range of agencies and works collaboratively with families and professionals to implement detailed plans and interventions. Additional funding is used well to target areas where children need support, and children with SEND are well supported.
Toddlers use paint rollers and water to make marks up and down the outdoor walls. Children enjoy using the outside areas and run around playing games with their friends. However, the curriculum is not always planned as well for the outdoor learning environment as it is for the inside environment.
Staff promote diversity well. They learn key words in children's home languages to support those children who speak English as an additional language. Parents are invited into the nursery to share information about their culture with children.
