Anglo Spanish Day Nursery, established in 1998, provides a unique bilingual childcare experience in Clapham, London, for children aged two months to five years. The curriculum emphasizes independence, resilience, and social skills through a balanced approach of child-led exploration and adult-guided experiences.

Inclusion & environment
Staff provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff swiftly identify children with SEND and provide them with appropriate support. Managers work with staff and external professionals to implement personalised plans that address gaps in children's learning.
Children enjoy uninterrupted time to learn, freely moving between indoor and outdoor environments. Children enjoy daily fresh air and exercise in the nursery's outdoor space. This contributes to the development of their large muscles and coordination.
I absolutely love this nursery. I looked at others in the area and I am so happy to have chosen this one. Not only is the space fantastic with daily activities for the children but the team are sensational. As a mother you're always worried about leaving your child with others but thankfully the practitioners take care of our babies with such patience, kindness, and warmth that it is admirable. My son started when he was 11 months old (in the Ositos room) and I was extremely nervous but to see this beautiful little village that they have created where our babies feel safe and loved and actually enjoy going in, is incredible. It immediately eased my nerves. You can tell each practitioner loves their job, through their attention to detail, dedication and understanding for each baby. This wonderful atmosphere is a true testament to the nursery manager, who is a fantastic leader and whose caring presence is so evident. Definitely recommend!
Read on GoogleThis is a remarkable nursery. My toddler has spent the past 7 months here. This is my first child and I was initially very anxious about putting my child in nursery, for fear of the quality of individual care, and whether or not my child would be neglected due to large group. However, I can safely say that my fears were unfounded. My child genuinely enjoys nursery and looks forward to attending. This is really the result of the incredibly committed and dedicated team. I cannot comment on the other sub-teams, but the baby team (Ositos) is incredibly dedicated and truly care for each one of the babies in the class. I know this because each of the staff know little details about my child (like his favourite foods) and have not just truly come to know him and adapt to him, but adores him and helps him grow and thrive with gentle encouragement. Notably, the nursery manager is highly dedicated and forward-thinking with attention to detail and plans loads of activities for the kids and parents. The positive leadership really shows as there have been lots of positive changes in the nursery resultant of good management. Also, the food here is home-cooked by a lovely Spanish chef, I have tried the food and it really is very good, I feel very lucky my little one benefits from her cooking! Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleWe have started this nursery only in September but until now we are very happy! My 10months old really enjoys being there and seeing all the staff. She always comes there with a big smile and greets everyone when we leave. I appreciate the fact that nursery has a unique family vibe and is bilingual. I hope they will continue to improve even more because they deserve an outstanding rating!
Read on GoogleWe visited on June 11th after really amazing ad timely communication over e-mail. After the show-around the woman in the office said my 15 hours code is not valid, she's never seen it before etc etc. And promised to look into it for me. 2 weeks past and no communication. I e-mailed to check again a couple days ago, but no answer again (very different from when we first reached out). Just to be clear, we reached out to two other nurseries who were able to understand our code wothout any problem and we have signed up there, naturally, where help has been much better. So for the lady at the show-around, please learn about the 15 hours codes so the condescending and rude conversation in your office will not be necessary towards any other parents. The other nurseries we visited were very helpful and didn't have a problem with the code at all. They were also able to inform of any fees etc on top of the funded hours which Anglo was not. We are disappointed in the treatment during show-around and after, especially going in with such excitement after excellent communication via e-mail prior.
