Our ethos
At Apple Day care, we offer professional childcare in a warm, relaxed and homely setting. Guided by the principles and aims of the Early Years Foundation Stage (2025), we work to the highest, most modern and forward-thinking standards in early years practice. We believe a good start never stops, and this drives our commitment to creating an environment where children of all abilities and backgrounds feel safe, confident and inspired. Every day with us introduces children to high-quality teaching that supports their development through meaningful experiences, nurturing curiosity, joy and growth. Play. Learn. Grow.
What it's like
Throughout their time at this exciting nursery, children remain deeply engaged in a wealth of wonderful learning opportunities. This is because staff work exceptionally hard to create a language-rich and ambitious environment based on children's interests and learning needs. Children become deeply absorbed as they investigate plastic sea creatures in a tank of water, and staff skilfully develop children's vocabulary and knowledge of pollution. Leaders and staff work hard to establish a highly effective key-person system, enabling children to form exceptionally close bonds with staff.
