About this day nursery

Arc Pre-School is a privately owned childcare provider situated within the Britwell Youth and Community Centre, dedicated to offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children up to four years old. The pre-school operates during term-time, providing both full-time and part-time attendance options.

Their educational philosophy centres on a child-led approach, integrating both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning experiences to achieve a balanced and responsive curriculum. This flexible methodology, drawing from various pedagogies, ensures that teaching and activities are tailored to the individual and group needs of the children.

The curriculum is firmly rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, encompassing a comprehensive range of educational programmes across Prime and Specific areas of learning. The pre-school fosters an atmosphere of positive attitude, respect, and continuous learning, aiming to equip each child with confidence and essential skills for their early years journey.
