I'm really happy with the Ark on foundry road. My 2 year old seems to be thriving there and loves going in. The staff are really friendly and I get a good handover every day. There seems to be a good range of activities they do. Yoga being a favourite, and they seem to get lots of outdoor time. The nursery has been really accommodating if we've needed adhoc extra days. And I would thoroughly recommend.

My daughter is currently in her fifth month of attendance, and I must say there has not been a single questionable experience to date - in fact, quite the opposite. The staff are consistently helpful, understanding, and accommodating; a trend that stood out even prior to my daughter’s enrolment. She is always happy and well-kept when I collect her, and often mentions staff members by name when at home. She has quickly developed close relationships not only with the staff, but also with other children, which I feel is strongly indicative of the warm, welcoming, safe, and secure environment they provide.

Lovely nursery; our son started in the baby room in March and has settled in well at the Ark Foundry Road. We were naturally nervous about him starting nursery (as many new parents are!) but the staff at The Ark have been fantastic. They tailor the settling-in process to the baby's needs which we appreciated. Lauren, his keyworker has been brilliant, but also the rest of the staff - it's lovely that the staff are engaged when you speak to them. He is very well cared for and is in a good routine. He also gets to try activities that he wouldn't normally at home. The ownership of the nursery changed just before our son started, which we were a little apprehensive about, however there continues to be a real family, home-from-home environment. I would definitely recommend!

Since Storal took over The Ark, there have been some significant changes. Unfortunately, the most noticeable downside is the shift away from the previously family-oriented, accommodating approach that made the nursery so special. Under Storal’s management, it now feels more like a profit-driven business, often at the expense of the parents’ needs and flexibility. That said, the key workers remain absolutely fantastic, as is Anna at reception — their dedication hasn't changed. Before the Storal takeover, I would have given The Ark a 5-star rating and recommended it to everyone without hesitation.

My son first started in the baby room at the Ark Nursery in 2011, my first daughter in 2014 and my youngest daughter in 2015 and all 3 attended until they left to go to school (my youngest is in preschool at the moment) and the place and the staff have become like a second home. My children only attended 2-3 times a week but they all formed a great bond with the staff and my eldest 2 still get excited to go in and pick up their sister from preschool and see the staff and let them know how they are getting on at school! The staff are genuine, caring, kind, professional but most importantly they go the extra mile to make sure the children are happy, well cared for and loved; as well as ensuring parents are well informed, well supported and kept up to date with their child's progress. There are many nursery's in and around Stamford (some of which are closer to my home) which I could have chosen but I have no doubt whatsoever I made the correct choice for my children. We will all be bereft when September comes and my daughter leaves!
