Inclusion & environment
Key persons know their children very well and quickly identify if there are any gaps in development. They consult with those who have a responsibility for overseeing the needs of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and create targets and strategies to help close any gaps in learning. They work closely with parents and external agencies to ensure children get the support they need and have a positive experience at nursery.
In the garden, older children create games together when they push trolleys, collect 'shopping', and go to their 'holiday home'. In the garden, children develop their balance and take safe risks when they explore the obstacle course with staff close by to support them.
We absolutely love Ashbourne Nursery and would recommend it to anyone! We moved our son from a nursery attached to a private school, which had 23 children in a class and was too busy for him to feel comfortable. We were recommended Ashbourne by a friend and are so glad we made the move. The class sizes are small, the staff know and build nurturing relationships with the children and make such an effort to cater to their likes & needs. Shout out to Hayley & Cole who our son adores ❤️❤️thank you for all you do xx
Read on GoogleSince our daughter started at Ashbourne in Cheltenham in February 2025, she has developed so much in relation to her motor, language, cognitive and social skills. She seems very happy there and always very chatty on pick up. All the staff are so very lovely and always take the time to talk us through her day. The setting is lovely and they have made lots of improvements recently. We’re really happy we chose Ashbourne!
Read on GoogleWonderful staff, lovely cosy setting and fantastic care of the children. Meals are varied and nutritious, the Montessori led approach to toys and activities is also wonderful. My daughter loves Ashbourne!
