About this day nursery

Ashcroft Infant and Nursery School is dedicated to providing an optimal start in life for all children, fostering a warm and welcoming environment as noted by an OFSTED review in February 2026. The school prides itself on a carefully structured induction process to ensure new pupils settle happily and transition smoothly into their educational journey.

They offer nursery places for children from the term after they turn three, with applications handled by contacting the school office directly. For Reception admissions, applications are managed through the local Education Authority, adhering to national closing dates and offer days.

The school encourages prospective families to reach out via phone or email for any admission-related inquiries.

My little girl has been going here since October 2022. She has come on leaps and bounds with everything. She's a very clear, verbal, energetic little girl who has made so many friends. She loves her teachers, she comes home smiling and telling me about her day. They do so many fun filled activities including days out and cooking, they also include parents by inviting them in for different occasions. If your looking for a nursery look no further. This is the best, they go above and beyond with everything they do.

Visited this nursery/pre school today! Shell the manager is absolutely amazing my child has additional needs without going in to too much detail. We visited several care providers and instantly got a feel for this place. We just turned up the staff are so patient and have all the support that he needs. They are so caring and supportive and gave me all the information I needed and more so I felt instant relief that they can care for my child in the way I would. The setting is beautiful and so much for the kids to do with so much support. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
