Little Dreamers Nursery is located in Blackpool and provides care for children aged from birth to four years. The day nursery is open all year round, from Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm. At its Ofsted inspection in December 2023, it received an overall rating of Good. The inspector noted that children happily engage in a broad range of activities and that staff and parents work well in partnership to meet children's needs.
Children have regular opportunities to play outdoors, using equipment such as a climbing frame and tricycles, and taking part in team games. A visiting dance teacher also leads activities which help children to develop balance and coordination. The day nursery supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, with staff tracking progress to identify those who may need additional support. The special educational needs coordinator works with parents and other agencies to put specific plans in place to support children's development.

Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress from their starting points. Staff track children's progress well and identify children who may require additional support. The special educational needs coordinator is knowledgeable and works very well with staff, parents and other agencies to put specific plans in place to support children's development.
Children have regular opportunities to play outdoors and engage in physical activities, such as riding tricycles, climbing on the frame and playing team games with the parachute. A visiting dance teacher also leads activities, which help children to balance well and coordinate their movements.
Both of my kids absolutely love it here. My oldest is at school now and she was more than ready for it with everything she learned at nursery. She goes back during half terms and is always so excited that she gets to go back. Literally jumps around the room when I tell her she's going to nursery. My youngest always goes in with a smile and leaves with a smile. The staff are friendly and have great relationships with the kids they look after. Can't really ask for anything more.

We looked at a few nurseries around the area but The New Westmere day nursery had all the toppings and has made a difference to my Grandson, 10months old. All the staff are great and friendly and have the best interest of the children at heart. Its really good for them to socialise before they get to school age.

Avoid at all costs. Used to he absolutely amazing and ran like clockwork. Now it would probably run better if the children were put in charge.
