Ashton House Nursery, a family-owned and operated establishment since 1988, is deeply committed to outdoor childcare. The nursery believes children thrive in fresh air and extensive natural environments, fostering resilience, self-belief, and character by allowing them to connect with nature and take calculated risks.
Forest School sessions are an integral part of daily life, taking place in the on-site woodlands. The nursery operates across two locations, Ashton Hayes near Chester and Frodsham, both boasting spectacular natural surroundings.
Emphasis is placed on creating a special place where children can build lasting, positive memories. Furthermore, the nursery actively encourages children to learn to ride bikes, with staff readily supporting this development by using balance bikes to enhance coordination, balance, and confidence in preparation for pedal bikes.

Highly recommend the Nursery and The Club during summer holidays. My toddler goes to the nursery and my boy who is 5 went the nursery since 10 months old and now goes the club. He is usually a bit nervous trying something new like the club but the staff have been so welcoming and he absolutely loves it! Can’t thank the nursery and club team enough they are great!
Read on GoogleThis is our second time round with Ashton House. Our son is now 7 years old and started when he was 3 months old and still goes back for Holiday Club in school holidays to see his old friends from nursery. Our daughter who is 20 months is now in Busy Bees. Both our children love going to nursery and always run in. We have recommended the nursery to all our friends. The staff are so caring, they geniunely love the children and go that extra mile to make them happy. The food is second to none and not one day is the same. We have always said that even if we did not need to work we would still send our children to Ashton House as the interaction and variety of activities could never be matched at home on a daily basis. We have made many friends through nursery over the years and would consider the staff personal friends as well.
Read on GoogleCan't fault this place, the staff are accommodating, helpful and friendly. Both of our kids have been here since they were babies. Great place.
Read on GoogleI found the holiday club to be quite poorly organised.
