How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make excellent progress. Leaders and staff work well with external professionals and parents so children get the support they need to thrive.

Outdoor space

Children use an extensive outdoor environment and woodland for play and learning — they create large-scale art outdoors, read on blankets in the woodland, ride bicycles on a challenging track, climb trees and use tools such as saws and hammers. They grow and harvest produce, visit the nursery's animals, and cook on fires, and the local community helped to develop the outdoor environment.

Highly recommend the Nursery and The Club during summer holidays. My toddler goes to the nursery and my boy who is 5 went the nursery since 10 months old and now goes the club. He is usually a bit nervous trying something new like the club but the staff have been so welcoming and he absolutely loves it! Can’t thank the nursery and club team enough they are great!

This is our second time round with Ashton House. Our son is now 7 years old and started when he was 3 months old and still goes back for Holiday Club in school holidays to see his old friends from nursery. Our daughter who is 20 months is now in Busy Bees. Both our children love going to nursery and always run in. We have recommended the nursery to all our friends. The staff are so caring, they geniunely love the children and go that extra mile to make them happy. The food is second to none and not one day is the same. We have always said that even if we did not need to work we would still send our children to Ashton House as the interaction and variety of activities could never be matched at home on a daily basis. We have made many friends through nursery over the years and would consider the staff personal friends as well.

Can't fault this place, the staff are accommodating, helpful and friendly. Both of our kids have been here since they were babies. Great place.

I found the holiday club to be quite poorly organised.
