Inclusion & environment
The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is exceptional. Staff are extremely knowledgeable about children's needs, supporting realistic, focused next steps seamlessly in play. Individualised support, such as short intervention sessions and specifically planned invitations to play, are very effective and ensure that all children are included. Children receive the targeted support they need to help them make swift progress, particularly where there are concerns about progress. Leaders act quickly to get the support children need.
Children develop their physical skills very well because staff provide carefully thought-out opportunities and a wide variety of resources for them. They climb, balance and crawl over, through and on top of complex structures they have built themselves using tyres, crates and planks.
In one word - Brilliant. My daughter has been with Bargates fro the age of 3 months to date (just turned two). They offer long hours with covers my office work hours perfectly, with dedicated staff who do a fabulous job. They do a range of activities with the children to help development and communication skills. They offer a hot, home cooked lunch for the children, and a freshly prepared tea, all prepared by a dedicated cook on site. They also give you a report book which details your childs progress and milestones, with photo's. Overall a fabulous nursery that I can't recommend highly enough.
