How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff offer home visits for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff have high expectations for all children, including children with SEND. Staff work extremely closely with outside agencies to support children's individual needs. Staff recognise that following the COVID-19 pandemic, the prime areas of learning, particularly speech and language, are a priority, so they now have a teaching room where more focused and tailored activities take place.

Outdoor space

Children use their allotment in the garden to grow their own fruit and vegetables. Babies explore the fruit and vegetables through messy play to ignite their senses, and they enjoy playing in the garden daily.

So happy we found Bay Tree. They have been amazing. So kind and nurturing towards our daughter and caring towards our whole family. Our daughter loves it there and has grown in confidence since attending. It is such a kind and welcoming atmosphere and the children get to take part in a wide range of activities from baking to gardening and the Montessori approach is very strong and well maintained. I love that they look at supporting the family as a whole and are happy to offer advice and support for outside the nursery as well. I feel very lucky to have found this amazing nursery. I would definitely recommend.

I took both my sons to Bay Tree over the years and they were always happy there. Very friendly and caring staff, comfortable setting, kids are always busy with something exciting. My youngest just started Reception this year and keeps asking if can go back to the nursery :) Thank you Bay Tree, we miss you so much! Kate

My son started attending Bay Tree when he was 9 months old and loved it from the beginning. Staff was super helpful and accommodating when it came to daily routines naps feeding etc. He now goes 5 days a week and I can see he is thriving there - absolutely loves all the activities, play time and gained so much independence by interacting with older kids. I am amazed every day with the variety of activities they doing - all teachers go above and beyond to keep things interesting and encouragr learning through play. the app with regular updates gives me this extra reassurance. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Really love Bay Tree my son started almost a year ago and has been so happy. All the staff are so caring and I feel very confident when I leave him they always do what's best and let your child take the lead. He's learnt so much I couldn't recommend it enough.

My boy enjoys his time at Bay tree. He has learnt a lot of new things and likes the company of his teachers and other kids. He seems happy about the fun activities they do together. The app to see what my boy does while at the nursery puts me at ease while at work. All of the staff there are lovely and friendly.
