Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported by staff to ensure they make the best possible progress. The special educational needs coordinator makes appropriate referrals to external agencies to help children get the support they need.
Children get plenty of fresh air and exercise to help keep them fit and healthy. They run around in the garden, balance on tree stumps and learn about the world around them through activities like treasure hunts.
Bournemouth Day Nursery is an excellent choice. My son went to this nursery for almost 2 years and today was his last day in this nursery and moving to school. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and highly professional, ensuring that children are happy, safe, and engaged. The nursery staff are genuinely caring and attentive, taking the time to understand each child’s unique needs and personality. They create a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and secure, which has made a huge difference in our son’s development. The communication from the team is excellent—they keep us informed daily about our son's activities, meals, and overall well-being, giving us peace of mind throughout the day. We are particularly impressed with the variety of educational activities and the structured routine they provide. The staff are highly skilled, making sure that every day is filled with stimulating activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. From arts and crafts to storytelling, outdoor play, and interactive learning sessions, our son is always excited to share what he learned and did at the nursery. The facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, with a wonderful outdoor area that encourages children to explore and play freely. We appreciate the emphasis on hygiene and safety, which is evident in everything they do. Bournemouth Day Nursery also fosters a sense of community among parents, often organising events and workshops that help us feel more connected and involved in our child’s early education journey. The staff’s dedication and passion are truly commendable, and we feel incredibly grateful to the entire team for taking such good care of our son. We highly recommend Bournemouth Day Nursery to any parent looking for a loving, secure, and stimulating environment for their child. Thanks to the wonderful team.
