About this day nursery

Bella's Childcare Ltd provides a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children from 0 to 4 years old. The nursery, which operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm all year round (except for one week in August and over Christmas), has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

Managers and staff demonstrate a strong understanding of each child, using this knowledge to create exciting learning opportunities that align with children's interests. For example, when children showed an interest in digital cameras, staff planned activities for them to explore facial expressions, fostering good communication skills and emotional literacy.

The nursery has recently implemented a new curriculum that effectively supports children's learning and development, focusing on promoting independence through activities like teaching children to put on their coats and manage self-care. Staff effectively support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with parents and other professionals to ensure individual plans are met, leading to good progress.

The team also enriches children's understanding of their local community and the wider world through meaningful outings, such as visits to supermarkets for cooking ingredients and dentists for hygiene lessons, while also teaching road safety.
