The inspector found that children are settled and secure in a positive environment where they approach new experiences with confidence. Children persevere with tasks, work together, and show kindness and respect to others. Staff have high expectations and support children to learn about healthy lifestyles and keeping themselves safe.
Staff pay close attention to children's interests and use these to support their development. They also focus on supporting language skills and helping children learn about the wider world. Parents reported to the inspector that they think highly of the day nursery, praising the staff and the good communication. The manager helps staff to swiftly identify where children may need extra support. Children enjoy playing outside, although Ofsted noted that staff could make greater use of outdoor areas to offer further opportunities for children who prefer to be outdoors.
